We designed and installed a new HVAC system for the school. The final equipment selection included seventeen packaged rooftop units with natural gas heat and economizers to serve the classroom areas and two split system heat pumps with auxiliary electric heat to serve the office, lobby, and teacher’s lounge.
The existing hot water baseboard heat was left in place, and we installed a new dual-fuel cast iron boiler, circulating pump, and water heater. All ductwork, insulation, programmable set-back thermostats, smoke detectors, and electrical, including new service panels, starters, disconnects, conduits, circuit breakers, and wire, were included in the project scope. Provide scheduled preventive maintenance service to all the HVAC systems.
