Replaced ten 40-Ton York packaged units with 45-ton Trane Voyager units and curb adapters. Using a crane for the work wasn’t possible due to the locations of the units.
A leading construction helicopter company was part of the team to assist with removing the old units, setting the curb adapters, and installing the new units. One unit was removed or replaced every 90 seconds. The start time for the job was 8 am (it was winter, and the helicopter couldn’t fly in the dark), and the store was open for business at 10 am as promised.
