Our task for this project was to establish a connection to the existing chilled water piping system. Chilled water systems are commonly used for air conditioning and cooling in various commercial and industrial applications. We expanded and modified the system by connecting it to the existing piping to accommodate additional cooling loads and improve efficiency.
We re-insulated the newly installed or modified piping. Insulation is essential for maintaining the temperature of chilled water as it moves through the system. Proper insulation helps prevent energy losses and keeps the chilled water at the desired temperature until it reaches its destination. By re-insulating the new piping, our team ensured the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the chilled water system.
In addition, we also replaced the chilled water pump. The chilled water pump is a critical component of the system that circulates the chilled water throughout the network of pipes. The new pump allows for greater efficiency and energy savings.
